The family

The Lumeau family name has been listed in the Sauveterre de Guyenne archives since 1840, and has always been associated with winegrowing.

Passed down for 8 generations from father to son, Xavier, the last newcomer, has carried on this family tradition; notbecause he felt obliged to but because he chose to, and because of his passion for the property. His elder sister preferred to follow a career in medicine.
The family spirit is very evident within the property; furthermore, the family homes are also on the land, and the grandparents always keep an eye on the property. The eight members of staff employed by the Lumeau family are also very well integrated.

Some have been working on the property for over fifteen years, in a familial and cordial atmosphere.
